Evaluations

Our clinical staff specialize in psychological, psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and psychosexual evaluations, both limited and comprehensive. These are available for children ages 6 through adults, in the following types of referrals:

Diagnostic Assessments
  • Helpful in determining treatment options and service eligibility for psychiatric providers, mental health counselors, and mental health agencies
School-based evaluations
  • Meant for assisting in Educational Support planning, including the development of Individual Education Programs (IEP),
    504 Accommodation Plans, and other Educational Support Plans
Functional Assessments
  • For the benefit of medical practitioners treating individuals with identified or suspected neurocognitive impairment
Risk Assessments
Forensic Assessments pertaining to the following:
  • Competency to Stand Trial
  • Functional and Diagnostic assessment for Pre-sentencing considerations
  • Capacity and the Need for Guardianship

Therapy

Therapy can come in many forms, our clinicians offer individual psychotherapy utilizing a number of types of therapy – called modalities.  Each modality can offer specific treatments for specific challenges.  Approaches used at Maple Leaf Clinic include:

Parents, patients, institutions, agencies, corporations or other kinds of organizations may wish to consult with our staff on various relevant topics.  Reach out to our office to set up some time to discuss how we might be helpful to you.  Consultative assistance is advisory in nature and the consultant has no direct responsibility for its acceptance.
